Happy 2026! I haven’t forgotten about the site, but the past few months have been busy. I will try to write monthly newsletters going forward. It’s already been a fun start to 2026! We have already had one train show, and we are hoping to attend several more this year!
The Great Train Show was on January 3/4, 2026 at the KCI Expo Center. Overall, we had significant turnout to the layout, as well as several interested parties in joining the cause.
Up next tentatively is the Lawrence Train Show at Crown Toyota. Whether or not there’s enough room for the layout depends if/when signups become available. That show is February 28 – March 1 in Lawrence, KS.
The next KCI show isn’t until August, so that buys the club ample time to work on the modules and position ourselves to have a really nice setup for train season later this year. Be on the lookout for a TCA show later this spring as well!
